THE OPPORTUNITY

Title: Process Improvement Professional/ Process Engineer (fixed term contract 18 months)

Location: Poland, remote

Global Operations:

Responsible for delivering excellent services and solutions to customers and business units, Global Operations drives innovation and efficiency while fueling commercial and growth investments.

Job summary:

As a Process Improvement Professional / Process Engineer , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of Clean Start operations on a global basis by creating and implementing processes that support the lifecycle of Clean Start deals.

Lifecycle elements begin with the inception of a customer opportunity thru to signature on a Statement of Work. Components of the lifecycle include activity routing, tracking of status, field based data collection, aligning solutions to customer needs (across all Iron Mountain lines of business), integrating partner process flows, pricing, generation of Recommendation Reports and Statement of Work documents, language translation and measuring program performance.

The scope of this position requires experience and expertise in process engineering, workflow design, technical automation and creative innovation that transforms end state outcomes.

Your role in our mission:

The Process Improvement Professional /Process Engineer requires the ability to understand existing actions performed by sales, customers, operations and partners who help facilitate execution of Clean Start opportunities. The selected candidate serves to support implementation of processes including training, answering questions and assisting with resolution of technical issues.

  • Navigate potential cultural sensitives and organizational barriers associated with global initiatives

  • Able to understand actions and activities across a diverse base of users and operators

  • Ability to design for speed across highly matrixed process flows and exception paths

  • Ability to benchmark, compare and quantify impact of current state/future state changes

  • Utilize system integrations for information and data sharing to realize optimization objectives

  • Assist with implementation of workflows and processes across different user groups

  • Understanding of next best decision logic with multiple option results

  • Continually refine defined processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

  • Collaborates with stakeholders and user groups in design considerations for best practices

Functional Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

The Process Improvement Professional /Process Engineer must develop effective and efficient workflows and processes that govern the tasks associated with executing the Clean Start opportunity lifecycle. The job requires complex understanding, in depth analysis, interpretative thinking and the ability to develop innovative strategies. The selected candidate must be capable of overseeing timelines and quality execution associated with deliverable expectations including design, implementation and support.

  • Analytical Skills / Strategic thinker

  • Time Management: Act with a sense of urgency – “Speed to Act”

  • Strong organizational and attention to detail capabilities

  • High level of emotional intelligence

  • Working independently with minimal supervision

  • The job requires a very high level of communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Understand the importance/value of the “customer experience” and their influence over that

  • Ability to use tracking mechanisms and operate software

  • Exceptional at internal and external presentations and speaking\listening

  • Knowledge and understanding of IM products and services preferred

  • Ability to identify customer needs and convert them to relevant Iron Mountain solutions preferred

Education / Experience:

  • Strong business/professional experience, with a focus on operational process

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or any related field preferred.

  • Computer proficiency (GSuite, AppSheet, SmartSheet, SalesForce, Technical Writing, Dashboard Reporting)

  • Multilingual verbal/written preferred, English and one or more; Spanish, French, German, Chinese

Travel Requirements:

  • Estimated at 20%
