Senior UX Designer

Join our Global User Experience team as a Senior UX Designer in Stockholm or Malmö, Sweden. What you would do as our Senior UX Designer:

You'll be specializing in user research and play a key role in our Global UX team, reporting to the Head of Global UX. This role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in UX principles, research methodology, and data-driven decision-making. You'll coordinate projects and designers across digital touchpoints, while also scoping, planning, and coordinating projects cross-functionally.

You would also:

  • Lead user research initiatives to uncover insights informing design decisions and enhancing user experiences across digital touchpoints, using methodologies such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and analytics.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to define project goals, deliverables, and timelines. Ensure alignment with UX best practices and overall business objectives.

  • Support the Design System Lead in developing and maintaining our design system to ensure consistency and efficiency across all digital touchpoints. Work closely with UI specialists to facilitate seamless user interactions.

  • Contribute to UX strategy and roadmaps in alignment with business goals and user needs. Provide insights and recommendations based on research findings and industry trends to improve our digital products and services continuously.

  • Effectively communicate research findings, design concepts, and project updates to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Advocate for human-centered design principles and promote UX value within the company.

  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment within the Global UX team, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional growth. Mentor junior team members on research methodologies, design principles, and best practices.

    The skills and experience you need:

    We are looking for someone who:

  • 5+ years of UX design experience, specializing in user research and project coordination and also proficiency in research methodologies, including usability testing and data analysis.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, or related field.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams and disciplines.

  • Proficiency with agile methodologies and design tools like Figma and passion for human-centered design and ongoing UX/UI learning.

  • Have a track record of leading user research initiatives to inform design decisions and understanding of design systems for cohesive user experiences.

    Ideally you would also have Global or cross-cultural work experience.
