Financial Services Management

About the Role

The Financial Services Manager position offers an exciting opportunity to help support the NY E-ZPass program. You must have relevant financial experience and proficient computer skills. Candidates should also be able to effectively multi-task while remaining flexible to changes in priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of financial reporting, budget, forecast/plan (P/L, B/S, Cash/Cashflow, AR/Collections, Capital Expenditure) with all departments/functional areas concerned.

  • Integrating month-end close process analysis by partnering with Accounting & Operations teams for assigned operating units.

  • Reviewing P&L for accuracy/completeness, understanding business reasons for any deviations to established projections. Providing accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions at the business/functional level.

  • Preparing variance analysis & explanations on the material budget/forecast changes for complex operating units/contracts. Supporting financial reporting requests from Corporate and/or Business Operations. Supporting preparation of projected financials for pricing proposals to new or existing customer/contracts. Preparing actual vs. budget variances, re-forecasts, and long-term plans. Producing ad hoc analysis as required.

  • Accounts payable and payroll support

  • Support contractual deliverables.

  • Support client and/Conduent Migrations

  • Support a healthy client relationship.

  • Serves as point of contact for resolving Financial Planning and Accounting operational issues.

  • Conducts studies and develops solutions for improving the processes.

  • Identifies and mitigates any risks/issues that are foreseen as potential bottlenecks to the process.

Requirements

  • Able to demonstrate bachelor’s degree in economics, Business, Finance, or Accounting

  • Able to demonstrate experience supporting VP-level and C-suite business partners, with ability to guide and influence business partners when necessary.

  • 5+ years of relevant FP&A and/or Accounting experience. Able to demonstrate advanced skills in MS Excel & PowerPoint.

  • Able to demonstrate experience with financial systems – e.g. JD Edwards System, Management Financial Reporting and Planning, Oracle Planning & Budgeting Cloud

  • Able to demonstrate proficient oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate information across all levels of management.

  • Able to demonstrate understanding of US GAAP.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $88,704 - $115,200.
