We are looking for an Inside Sales Engineer (Flow Controls) in Final Control Business Unit! (#LI-Hybrid)

In this position, based in our Sofia, Bulgaria office, you will prepare technical proposals by offering an engineered solution for customers applications, technically review process and manage customer orders. Working as part of the Inside Sales team, in conjunction with Field Sales, this role will be responsible for communicating with customers directly to prequalify enquiries. You will ensure the customer receives the solution that fits their needs, then follow up on the quotation, sometimes clarifying customer queries.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Responding to technical sales enquiries from customers

• Qualifying all enquiries to ensure proposals demonstrate Emerson’s full product and capabilities portfolio

• Ensuring all proposals meet the customers’ application and operational needs, are technically engineered, accurate and commercially verified, offering solutions that highlight customer business benefits

• Collaborating closely with individuals in the organization to prioritize effort, gather competitive intelligence, agree product direction and price strategy to improve customer service

• Improving opportunities for expanding scope within Final Controls and all other Emerson business units, wherever possible

• Occasionally visit customers to develop relationships and become a trusted advisor

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience

• Several years of relevant sales experience

• English and Bulgarian language proficiency

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• The ideal candidate has worked in a large matrix organization with applications in industrial automation environment; has a good knowledge of similar technical products (e.g. valves, actuators, regulators) and understands similar industries (e.g. oil & gas, power, life science)
