Microsoft Corporation Sales Manager-Public Sector in Schiphol, Netherlands

Microsoft’s Cities and Regions (C&R) team focuses on empowering municipalities on their digital journey. We work with leading cities and regions in the Netherlands, leading with best practises across the world to help them leverage AI and cloud technologies to improve their services, operations, and sustainability.

We are looking for a Sales Manager who can lead our C&R domain for the Netherlands. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and market share in this domain. You will also manage a team of Account Executives and Account technology strategists who are dedicated to serving our C&R customers.

Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Customer Obsession

  • Deliver business growth through leading and empowering account teams. You will lead execution of Go to Market (GTM) to deliver customers’ business outcomes across their entire lifecycle.

  • Accelerate customer satisfaction and model executive engagements with business decision makers and C-level executives.

  • Maximize share of wallet, achieve targets (billed revenue, consumption, and adoption), and win against competition through flawless execution.

  • Lead partnership across the organization to achieve business value for customers and business results for Microsoft.

  • Drives the business within the segment, creating clarity on strategic direction with managers and teams to enable revenue growth by addressing business and competitive needs.

People Management

  • Deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and caring of your team.

  • Develop, empower and transform your team to meet industry and customer needs by hiring, retaining, and developing talent.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND Proven years experience in Sales, Advertising, or Marketing and/or driving business growth or customer digital transformation, sales management, or leadership

  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or technology related field AND Several years experience in Sales, Advertising, or Marketing and/or driving business growth or customer digital transformation, sales management, or leadership

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • A few years of people management experience.

  • Public Sector Experience
