Some Responsibilities as Assistant Controller:

• Conducting quarterly and year-end closings for fund and management company entities.

• Compiling tax workbooks for fund and management company entities.

• Aiding in the examination of tax returns for funds, management companies, and holding company.

• Contributing to detailed reviews of Schedule K-1s and footnotes.

• Participating in the scrutiny of other tax reports like 10402s and FBAR.

• Creating annual audit workbooks and financial statements.

• Supporting capital calls and distributions.

• Generating GP tax estimates.

• Analyzing QSBS.

• Formulating management fee calculations for funds.

  Requirements

• Experience at a VC/growth equity firm. Open to a PE experience, but not ranked as high.

• Must have managed outsourcing / fund admins

• Must have prepared tax workbooks in house

• 10+ years of financial services experience
