Job Description Summary
As part of the RISE Open Fan Systems team, the Systems Rig Owner owns the rig test readiness for the program for a specific engine module(s). This role partners heavily with the respective module design team, Test Systems Engineering, and Systems Turbomachinery Integrator to ensure rig test execution meets RISE program objectives which are achieved safely, with high quality, on schedule and within budget. A high level of operational judgment is required to achieve the outcomes required.
Previous experience with turbofan design and/ or program management is desired.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Owns System level requirements
Primary contact for Test Systems Engineering including Evaluation Engineering, Test Enabling Hardware Design and Instrumentation
Heavily supports supply chain coordination for Assembly and Instrumentation application
Supports test facility integration
Owns coordination with design engineering for MRB, shop mods and DCIDs
Owns coordination and preparation of detailed test planning and test cards
Owns change management process and coordination
Owns coordination with external partner on data systems (if needed)
Supports the creation of test EHS safety plan
Owns and coordinates ICDs with external partners as needed
Coordinates hardware perfection reviews within program, test monitoring and execution
Owns the systems program management for the TSE, Assembly and Test portion of the budget
Required Qualifications
This role requires significant experience in the Engineering/Technology & Systems Engineering. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
Experience with turbofan engine development or rig development
Desired Characteristics
Prior turbofan rig or engine ownership
Knowledge of configuration control process
Engine assembly and Test execution experience
Familiarity with GE’s or comparable Engine OEM’s quality system
Ability to be on site for critical phases of rig engine assembly and test execution
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Established project management skills.
Prior turbomachinery design or integration experience
