Autodesk Fusion is an ecosystem of client and server components, next-generation web client, SDK and Cloud services with a variety of integrations with world leading products such as AutoCAD, Inventor and Revit.
We are growing our presence in Pune, India and looking for a Software Engineer to join our team focused on shaping the future of Factory Design solutions in Autodesk Fusion. Reporting to the Manager of Software Development for Factory Design, you would be someone who is enthusiastic about creating applications targeted at Factory Design and Simulation. You will have experience in software development for cloud connected desktop applications.

Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, testing and maintenance of the application
Produce clean, secure, maintainable, and well-documented code
Embrace an event-driven architecture mindset and apply it to software design
Collaborate with teams to agree on project goals and timelines
Utilise debugging techniques to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Use cloud technologies, including AWS services such as S3 and RDS, for scalable and reliable solutions
Be a Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies and ensuring the team's adherence to Agile principles
Mentor junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality deliverables
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
5 to 8 years of experience in software development with proficiency in cloud connected desktop applications
Understanding of object-oriented programming principles, data structures, and algorithms
Proficiency in C++, Python or .NET
Experience with database technologies
Experience with build and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
Experience with cloud platforms, AWS services such as S3 and RDS
Understanding of event-driven architecture principles
Proficiency in quickly learning new programming languages and frameworks
Experience creating detailed technical documentation
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum framework
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing addins, plugins, content libraries (Autodesk preferred)
Experience making architectural tradeoffs required to find software solutions
Experience as a Scrum Master
Familiarity with CAD concepts and Discrete Event Simulation
Familiarity with Inventor, AutoCAD, Factory Design Utilities, FlexSim
