What you’ll do:

Job Summary

Primary Responsibilites for the Lead Analyst - GFSS Record to Report include; Ownership of Global Oracle Clearing Account Processes and establish Global Center of Excellence (CoE). Coordinating global activities for RTR clearing account and reconciliations for other GFSS centers and measure performace of CoE. The Lead Analyst will also serve as a liason to the business partners and support GFSS Compliance (SOX, internal audit, exteral audit) requests and reconciliation preparation, review and associated training. Responsible for identfying and implementing effeciences and automation to clearing account processes and reconcilations.

Serves as process owner for Global Oracle Clearing Accounts Center of Excellence (CoE). Ensure and track performance of Global Clearing Accounts utilizing Oracle ARCS (Account Reconciliation Cloud Services). Responsible for leading efforts to reduce aged items and find efficiencies in clearing account processes. Partner with AR/AP/GL for process documentation updates and look for Continues Improvement opportunities. Think strategically with a digital mindset; identify themes, find root cause and ultimately assess process automation opportunities. Standarize processes for global sites using clearing accounts and transition non-centralized sites into the CoE model. Support global Audit and SOX request for managed accounts. Functional Manager for clearing account reconciliations teams. Provides systems and process oversite for Oracle, ARCS and associated reporting. Demonstrate a commitment to achieving continuous improvement and total quality in the performance of all assigned duties and around the business. Identify specific opportunities and actions that can be taken and drive accountability to execute actions across the Enterprise. Lead performance report outs to the key stakeholders. Support training initiatives with GFSS supported sites.

Qualifications:

Education level required

  • Bachelors Degree

Years and area of experience required

  • 8+ years of finance and accounting experiences.Overall leadership experience on process improvement initiatives and projects.

Skills:

Technical knowledge

  • Solid understanding of US GAAP and Internal Controls. Experience in implementing and maintaining systems/software (SAP, Oracle, ARCS as primary systems). Solid understanding of Oracle R12 processes and interactions between subledgers and intercompany transactions.

Soft skills

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work through complex issues, provide solutions and deliver timely results. Conveys complex information, develops communication strategies, and persuades significantly diverse audiences. Reconciles multiple stakeholder perspectives to resolve conflicts. Demonstrates ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Strong PC skills (Microsoft Office). Self-directed/highly motivated. Must be able to communicate effectively across cultural and functional lines including Customers, IT Support, etc. Must work well in a team based environment.­Must demonstrate excellent analytical and problem solving skills, applying Oracle system expertise, US and Local Country GAAP, financial policies and EBS tools such as ProLaunch, to troubleshoot financial system problems and resolve customer issues and/or implement new solutions. Must be detailed oriented and have a proven ability to meet deadlines. Possess a Center of Excellence mindset seeking to develop and leverage solutions internationally.
