Senior Financial Analyst (m/w/d) Sales & Marketing

Location: Aachen

Contract: full time, permanent

We are seeking 2 highly skilled and motivated team player individuals to join the EMEA Abiomed Finance organization in two newly created roles. These roles will provide much needed support for a fast-growing dynamic business and - through potential role rotation – will allow the new team members to gain experience and insight into many different areas of Finance business support alongside senior leaders within the EMEA organization.

The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:

  • Lead Monthly and Quarterly Closing Processes for their respective area.

  • Prepare financial planning (expenses & headcount) and forecasting including BP, MTP, LTP, NU, JU, latest thinking (targets, reductions, trends, R&Os).

  • Partner within the global Abiomed Finance Organization on reporting & forecast cycles.

  • Continue to support broader integration activities, including the global adoption and implementation of world-wide accounting policies and procedures.

  • Ensure SOX controls and GAAP compliance standards are fully met for all processes.

  • Identify and implement process improvements and digital solutions to increase efficiency and play a pro-active and value adding role in the shaping of their respective department.

  • Participation and adoption of various Enterprise, MedTech and Abiomed Finance initiatives (e.g., Organizational Health Actions, SigniFi, process improvements, etc.)

  • Proactively take ownership for personal development, ensuring a positive work life balance while managing stakeholders.

Qualifications

We would love to hear from YOU, if you have:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Business, Finance or Accounting

  • CPA, CMA or equivalent professional qualification are preferred.

  • A minimum 3 years of accounting, finance or related business experience is required.

  • Experience using data visualization tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, etc. and data analysis tools such as SAP, Anaplan, etc. is preferred.

Proven ability to work independently and appropriately plan, prioritize, and communicate progress on multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment is required.

Proficiency to network, collaborate and generate consensus effectively in a complex environment, possessing strong social skills, promoting inclusion, and building trusting relationships with business partners across all cultures and levels of the organization is required.

  • Demonstrate a global and enterprise-wide mindset, required.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, work independently and handle multiple priorities effectively is required.

  • This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills, and intellectual curiosity, required.

  • Fluent English skills are required, German preferred
