Description We are on the hunt for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in Inglewood, California. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. The Bookkeeper will also be responsible for reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliation.

• Utilize QuickBooks to track and manage company accounts.

• Conduct account reconciliation (checking, credit card, loans, etc.) on a regular basis.

• Handle monthly closing of books and monthly account reconciliations.

• Assist with preparation of financial and statistical statements and reports.

• Analyze and manage inventory, revenue streams, and other financial data.

• Perform data entry tasks and manage information in Microsoft Excel.

• Manage payroll processing, including the tabulation of accrued employee benefits.

• Adhere to and stay updated on all local, state, and federal laws regarding company finances.

• Assist with other accounting projects in the office as necessary. Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation

• Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with bank reconciliations

• Prior experience in bookkeeping

• Ability to perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in month end close procedures

• Prior experience in payroll processing

• Proficiency in QuickBooks software.
