What you’ll do:

At Eaton India Innovation Center, the BLC team is currently seeking a QA and Devops Manager. This position is based in EIIC Magarpatta City, Pune.

As QA manager this role will be focused on Supervises the QA and devops team of BLC platform.

Driving end to end test strategy and creating the automation and test plan for the cloud enablement deliverables.

Stays up-to-date on the on the technology domain. Self-learning and brings new technical practices and innovations to the team.

Selects talent, supervises, coaches and evaluates performance of software Test and devops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the QA and Devops function

Collaborates with relevant internal and external parties establishing an effective network to obtain input on quality deliverables, identifying trends and opportunities.

Drives an engaged, innovative, and inspiring working environment in the teams by motivating, challenging and coaching employees.

Develops High Performing teams: use best in class practices regarding recruitment and selection, adequate staffing and goal setting

Executes on continuous improvement in processes and ways of working to achieve operational excellence

Able to take technical decisions quickly as the result of well-directed data gathering, effective analysis and good judgement. Balancing the tension between daily tasks and the long-term strategic vision of the organization.

Qualifications:

Driving end to end test strategy and creating the automation and test plan for the cloud deliverables.

Ensuring “First Time Right” Sprint deliverables from team by adopting the best practices in Scrum testing.

Building Capability across platform team. Harmonizing the best practices

Drive the devops capabilities and ensure for efficient CI pipe lines.

Ensure to run NFR for each release. Work with system architects and ensure NFR updated on regular basis

Drive best practices to ensure the defect removal efficiency at different stages of testing

Define Quality metrics in relevance with the project. Monitor the metric and report to management on regular basis.

Develops High Performing teams: use best in class practices regarding recruitment and selection, adequate staffing, renumeration, goal setting

Ensure to drive the seamless CI Pipeline activities and all automation developed is deployed as part of the pipeline

4. Own the defect management board

5. Report the status and quality metrics to management and stakeholders on a particular cadence

6.Drive the non functional requirements gathering and execution

Skills:

• B.E. / B Tech / M Tech

• 12+ years experience in QA Domain. Embedded automation knowledge

• Python experience

• Test Automation

• Cloud platform preferrably Microsoft Azure

• Any Bug Tracking tools like JIRA/TFS etc.

• Emotional Intelligence, Ownership & Commitment, Stakeholder Partnership, Network Performance, Customer Centricity, Judgment and Learning Agility
