Here at First Harvest, we work hard, play hard, reward each other, and treat each other like family.A day in the life of a MEMBER SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE III:The MSR III oversees member services with minimal supervision, directs workflow in the absence of branch management, acts as key holder, assists with coaching and training new team members. They also handle branch MSR duties independently, serve as the first point of contact for member issues or complaints, and escalate issues as needed.In your new role you will contribute to branch sales goals by engaging members in dialogue to determine their financial needs and recommending products or services that meet those needs using various sales techniques. Acts as key holder on rotating basis, performing branch opening and closing responsibilities. Makes recommendations to supervisor for improvements within the branch that would result in improving the delivery of service to the membership.Your responsibilities include working as part of the office team. Represent the credit union at Select Employer Group (SEG) signups onsite as requested. Participate in available credit union self-development education programs and required compliance courses through self-study, Digital University, and the credit union's training department.Qualification RequirementsEducational/Training Requirement:High School Diploma or GEDAssociate or bachelor's degree, preferred.Experience:Minimum of two (2) years as an MSR II or similar role within a financial institutionPrior sales experienceExperience coaching and training others preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Thorough knowledge of credit union services, policies and proceduresSolid Knowledge of banking regulationsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and using the web.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent customer service skillsAbility to remain professional and act as a role model for others.Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise judgement.Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Sales techniquesAbility to coach and train othersAvailable to travel to other branches and off-site company events when required.Physical Requirements:The physical demands may require a person to sit or stand for extended periods per day and lift items to be estimated to weigh 5-10lbs or more.Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA):Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job duties of the position.
