Description

We are offering an opportunity for a part time Purchasing Agent in the manufacturing industry. Based near Woodbridge, New Jersey, the role involves the acquisition of goods and services necessary for the business. You will be primarily dealing with vendors, negotiating deals, and ensuring the timely delivery of products.

Duties:

Optimizing the merchandise using business strategies, historical data, seasonal concepts, and trends to boost sales and margins.

Collaborating daily with the planning team to execute seasonal plans and merchandising strategies across all channels.

Extracting insights from past performance to inform future product needs.

Developing expertise in store locations to boost sales through targeted strategies.

Researching industry trends to explain current business performance and anticipate future trends.
