AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Partner Success Solutions Architects (PSSAs) interlock with account teams and Partners to identify trends and gaps in the market to build, communicate and execute technical partner strategies in our commercial segments. This strategy supports partner selection and drives initiatives by validating and connecting partner capabilities with segment needs. It also informs the AWS Partner Management team of any gaps and trends so they can evolve their technical enablement plans. We will go deeper on select opportunities that are strategic to the segment ensuring partners leverage the best practices, tools and patterns. We validate statements of work or deal with partner quality escalations as they arise.

Key job responsibilities

Partner Success Solution Architect (PSSA) is responsible for positioning and supporting the utilization of APN Partners within an allocated AWS sales territory. PSSA's are Partner agnostics and they are tagged to the Industry Vertical .The PSSA role is also responsible for partner delivery quality through proactive enablement of local partner teams and acts as an escalation point for issues relating to partner solution deployments or partner service delivery execution.

A day in the life

This role is a Techno Commercial Role and PSSA work with Partner Sales Managers (PSMs) to accelerate the AWS business leveraging the AWS Partners, while also helping AWS Partners in their business to grow with AWS.

Bangalore, KA, IND | Mumbai, MH, IND

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience

  • 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience

  • 7+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting

  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud

  • Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
