Description

AWS Marketplace is looking for a Business Development Manager to join its fast-paced team. You will be responsible for ensuring that leading Enterprise ISVs can effectively leverage AWS Marketplace as a new and exciting channel for scalable and efficient, global growth.

In this role, you will build deep relationships with market leading Enterprise ISVs in AWS Marketplace. You will partner closely with AWS Marketplace, APN and Field Teams, to ensure that our prioritized ISV Partners can drive accelerated growth and efficiency to meet the requirements of AWS customers. You will also manage projects across internal and external teams to help scale, and effectively create and position programs that benefit the ISV, along with AWS customers and reseller partners.

Responsibilities

⁃ Work with Partner ISVs Leadership, Alliances, Sales and Operations teams, to drive adoption of their global AWS Marketplace Go-to-Market Strategies.

⁃ Work with ISVs to transform their customer engagement models and to scale success globally.

⁃ Work with AWS Marketplace ISV Category leadership and AWS Marketplace Business Development Operations to provide a comprehensive and multi-faceted engagement process.

⁃ Work with APN, AWS Marketplace ISV Category leadership and AWS sell-with teams to identify and enable emerging ISVs for increased Marketplace engagement.

⁃ Identify specific customer segments and industry verticals to approach with a joint value proposition for using AWS.

⁃ Work closely with all AWS teams to continuously ensure that AWS is the ISV Technology Partner’s preferred cloud computing platform across all product lines.

⁃ Prepare and provide business reviews to the senior management teams, both internally and externally, regarding progress and metrics.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $73,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
